Summer BBQ Sauce

Notes:
Allowing the sauce to cool and rest overnight in the refrigerator will improve the flavour.

Alternativly marinade ribs, pork chops or chicken overnight in the cooled sauce.
 
Ingredients:

Barbecue Sauce with Ale-Gar 

 

Ingredients 

 4 tablespoons minced onion 

 1 cup of tomato purée 

 ¾ cup of water 

 3 cups of Ale-Gar 

 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce 

 1 tablespoon salt 

 1 teaspoon paprika 

 1 teaspoon chilli powder 

 ½ teaspoon pepper 

 ¼ teaspoon cinnamon 

 Dash of ground cloves 

 

Method 

1. Combine all the ingredients in the order given 

2. Heat this to a boil, stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes, cool then store in the refrigerator 

for later use 

3. Good for spare ribs, pork chops or chicken
